The Faraday Defense 12×12 Honeycomb EMC Vent is engineered for high-performance EMI/RFI shielding applications where both effective ventilation and maximum electromagnetic protection are critical. Utilizing a precision honeycomb waveguide structure, the filter allows air to circulate freely while significantly reducing electromagnetic signal leakage through ventilation openings.
Designed for shielded airflow and to achieve shielding effectiveness primarily from 300 MHz – 40 GHz, averaging > 100 dB, this filter is well suited for demanding environments including shielded rooms, EMC test chambers, microwave anechoic chambers, and other secure facilities where maintaining enclosure integrity is essential.
Its durable all-metal construction and large 12 × 12 inch format provide increased airflow capacity while maintaining reliable shielding performance. The perimeter mounting flange allows for secure installation into shielded walls, equipment enclosures, and custom EMI-protected systems.
